Tell Me What You Think
Senator Green wants to know what you think! The legislature is in special session right now working on two very important issues that will impact all Alaskans, the natural gas pipeline project and energy cost relief. Please take a a few moments to complete the survey. Senator Green values your opinion.

Please indicate your answer on a scale of one to five. One means you are strongly opposed to the plan. five means you strongly support it.

Energy Cost Relief
The Palin Administration has proposed a two part energy relief plan to help Alaskans pay for high energy costs. The Legislature could be asked to vote on these proposals later this summer.

Strongly Oppose << >> Strongly Support
1) The state will grant funds to electric utilities statewide to lower electric bills. Some of the money will also subsidize electric bills for private businesses, corporations and the federal government. Do you support this plan? 1 2 3 4 5 Undecided
2) Everyone eligible for a Permanent Fund Dividend will receive a debit card that will be credited with $100 per month for 12 months. The debit cards will be issued regardless of income level or need. The card will be used to pay for energy needs at authorized vendors in Alaska.  Do you support this plan? 1 2 3 4 5   Undecided
Natural Gas Pipeline
1) Which natural gas pipeline project do you prefer?: Pick One
Awarding the AGIA license and up to $500 million in state funds to TransCanada?
The Denali Pipeline Project backed by ConocoPhillips and BP?
An LNG pipeline project to Valdez?
Let all three projects move forward on their own and let the free market decide?
        Undecided / Don't know
2) Should the state invest public funds in a bullet line that would extend from the North Slope to Fairbanks to Southcentral Alaska that will provide Alaskans with natural gas? Yes No  Undecided
